A Passion Built up over Generations

On leaving school Michael Layzell joined the family business which had been set up by his grandfather. Michael trained as a carpenter and joiner and left in 1975 to work independently constructing quality homes of character and eventually working extensively on listed buildings and older properties. Michael finds it both challenging and rewarding to restore a home to its original beauty using traditional methods and materials.

Further developments resulted in the company expanding enabling larger contracts to be undertaken without compromising personal attention. Michael is proud of his conscientious and accomplished workforce who work on projects both modern and traditional.
